What to see in Spain

Our association brings together many realities within Spain. From the high peaks of Tenerife, the roads to Santiago, the beaches of San Sebastián, the coves of Mallorca and Ibiza, the traditions of Pamplona to the essence of the hinterland in Toledo. We have all the facets of our great country.

Pamplona (Navarra)

Ways create history and foster traditions, and in the Kingdom of Navarre the Way of St. James stands out, leaving an indelible mark on customs and heritage. Other routes with centuries of tradition are the Roman roads and gullies; Navarre also offers a multitude of small and large trails. The main one of all its festivals takes place in Pamplona. The Sanfermines begin with the “chupinazo” on July 6th and the streets are filled with a sense of brotherhood in the midst of the fiesta and joy.

San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa)

The urban layout of San Sebastian unfolds overlooking La Concha Bay. Mount Igeldo marks the boundary at one end, an unbeatable vantage point for enjoying the views over the city. At its foot is the Punta Torrepea, where the “Wind Comb”, a sculpture by the famous Basque artist Eduardo Chillida, is installed. The city One of the best ways to tour its neighborhoods and get closer to its culture is through its cuisine. Basque cuisine has international prestige thanks to the quality of its raw materials and the expertise of its chefs, both traditional and imaginative.

Mallorca (Islas Baleares)

It is the largest island in the Balearic archipelago. The soft climate is always present and in any of their corners the lifestyle and the purely Mediterranean gastronomy accompany the traveler. One of the most pleasant cities in Spain to walk around is Palma. In addition to its Cathedral and Bellver Castle it is advisable to enjoy the charming villages of the whole island, as well as its virgin coves.

Tenerife (Islas Canarias)

Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands and these are known as the lucky islands. Reasons? From its springtime climate, its volcanic nature and relaxing beaches, to its colonial-style historical centers, its restaurants that blend haute cuisine and popularity, and its many special accommodations that ensure the smile of everyone who visits. Visits with rural charm in the north of the island, with a route by its volcanoes or with a tour by the National Park of the Teide (declared World-wide Patrimony). The Orotava Valley, the rural areas of El Palmar or Teno Alto are areas where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature.

Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña)

Santiago de Compostela is a very lively city with many other reasons to charm the traveller, whether he is a pilgrim or not: countless restaurants and bars in which to savour the exquisite seafood of Galicia, a historical center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, contemporary art proposals… There are many plans to be made in this city that combines its history with a younger and more modern face. Many say that doing the Camino and finally arriving in Santiago is a life-changing adventure. Of course, this city has something to offer.

Ibiza (Islas Baleares)

Its turquoise water coves transmit relaxation and discretion. You can discover some of the most peaceful ones with a pleasant sailing trip from the ports of Ibiza, Sant Antoni de Portmany and Santa Eulària des Riu. For its part, Ibiza’s World Cultural Heritage is mainly concentrated in the upper area of Ibiza, Dalt Vila, considered the best preserved coastal fortress in the Mediterranean. It is one of those places that can be discovered by taking short walks through narrow streets and squares.

Toledo

World Heritage City and summarizes the history of Spain better than any other. Toledo is a monument in itself, as it has one of the greatest concentrations of art in Europe. It is also a lively market of crafts and gastronomy, full of artistic activities. The variety of names by which it is recognized throughout time shows its historical importance. Toledo is, in short, an explosion of culture.
